
CrossFit Games 2021 have arrived and many CrossFit Games 2021 competitors are thrilled. Along with the usual CrossFit Games competitions like those for men, there will also be events for women. Women's competition
The women's competition at the 2021 Crossfit Games began this morning with the swim event. Jonne and Tia Claire Toomey-Orr won the first competition. Koski won the overall competition after maintaining her lead all the way. Tall finished second and Eramoo O’Connell third, respectively. This was the first Games event for women and the women's team hoped to finish the podium.
The women's competition is filled with top-level athletes. The field comprises nine athletes, one of whom is a teenager who won the competition in Australia last summer. Kara Saunders (Australian athlete) finished second in Australia. She was also eleventh worldwide for 2020. Another rising star is Andrea Nisler, who competed in the team division in 2018 and finished third in the United States and fifteenth overall in 2020. These athletes will be joined by Sara Sigmundsdottir from Iceland, who was awarded the first place medal at the World Crossfit Games earlier in the year.
Pegboard contest
The Pegboard contest at the Crossfit Games 2021 was a first. The Games added it to their summer Olympic program, along with double-unders (dumbbell overhead squats) and pegboard. Toomey-Orr won 30 of the Games' most events, setting a new record. Sager won Event 11 men's and received his third Games win. There were several tie in the contest but Toomey Orr's dominance was too strong to stop him winning.

CrossFit Games training involves focusing on ten basic physical fitness skills: endurance, strength flexibility power speed and agility. Competitors are tested on their grip strength and coordination in the Pegboard contest. A scale is used to determine the strength and coordination of competitors. The competition was fierce and the athletes felt a sense accomplishment after finishing the Pegboard.
Cutting system
CrossFit Games will use a cutting system again for individual competitions. Although it's not as drastic as previous Games, it is still quite different from this year. There are 15 events in the competition, so it is possible that 30 athletes will be cut after the eighth or seventh event. CrossFit's decision on how to adjust the points distributed after cuts remains a question. The scoring table used during the 2019 games was almost identical to that used in 2021. It is likely that this will continue.
This year's CrossFit Games Field includes 236 athletes. This is the largest field in its history. The first six events result in major cuts. The field is now reduced to 75. The top 30 finishers compete in a sprint pairt to determine who is the top ten. From there, the top 20 athletes compete in the remaining six events. Castro's system was criticised by veteran Games participants, who felt that the cuts were too significant.
Reebok equipment
Reebok has announced new sports shoes, clothing, and other equipment for the CrossFit Games. The new shoes are the Nano X1. They are built to accommodate multiple fitness needs. Reebok calls the shoe "the shoe of health," but it is more like a traditional trainer shoe. DuPont's Kevlar upper promotes breathability while ensuring durability. The firm midsole and RopePro tech enhance the responsiveness of the shoes.

CrossFit's agreement with Reebok will end at 2020. No title sponsor will be available for the Games. The Games have been sponsored by Reebok for over a decade, and it's now clear that the company's involvement will be decreasing. Reebok won’t pay for the Games’ prize, but they will continue to make all athletic apparel, equipment, and gear worn by athletes. The company will no longer call itself the "Reebok CrossFit Game", as it currently does.
